24 Breast Cancer Survivors Enjoy 'Beauty Day' at Clovis Community
A special 'beauty day' was held at Clovis Community for 24 breast cancer survivors. The event, organized by the Valley Pink Patch campaign, saw Sally Beauty providing beauty tutorials. This year's campaign has set a record with 20 law enforcement partners participating, all supporting the fight against breast cancer.
The Valley Pink Patch campaign has been a significant force in raising funds for local breast cancer patients. This year alone, it has already collected $134,000. The campaign's latest initiative was a 'beauty day' for 24 survivors, who were treated to beauty tutorials by ULTA Beauty. The event was a heartwarming affair, with the survivors being escorted down a pink carpet by local officers, cheered on by their loved ones and care teams.
To raise even more funds, local law enforcement will be selling pink uniform patches for just $10. These patches will go towards supporting the Marjorie E. Radin Breast Cancer Center.
