Aggressive Individual Launches Assault on Elderly Pedestrian at an Intersection

In the tranquil town of Saxon Eilenburg, a disturbing incident occurred last week. A 70-year-old woman was the victim of a brutal assault that took place at the intersection of Am Anger / Corner Bahnhofstraße.

According to reports, a 38-year-old man suddenly forced his way into the woman's car at a red light, striking her multiple times in the face. The man, who entered through the passenger door, snatched the ignition key and attempted to flee on foot.

However, the woman pursued the man, and he kicked her when she approached. Fortunately, several bystanders intervened, overpowering the man and detaining him.

The extent of the woman's injuries is unknown, but she was transported to the hospital for treatment. The man was taken to a psychiatric hospital for evaluation.
