Community Health System Reopens Revamped Burnett Center in Fresno
Community Health System has reopened the revamped Burnett Extended Care Center in Downtown Fresno after a $35 million renovation. The facility now boasts over 150 beds, offering increased access to long-term care and recovery rooms for Valley patients. The center features three gyms and therapy spaces to aid patients' recovery. It also includes a beauty shop for patients' comfort and well-being. Half of the beds are dedicated to long-term specialized care. The grand opening, held by Community Health System, marked the completion of the extensive renovation. So far, around 50 people have been hired, with plans to add up to 200 more positions. The name of the head of the nursing station is not publicly available. Patients will begin being admitted to the center this fall, benefiting from the expanded long-term care facilities and services. The Burnett Extended Care Center's reopening is expected to significantly improve healthcare options for the community.
