In a series of developments, several trucks and cyclists have come under scrutiny, while an investigation into potential fraudulent vehicle certification continues.

Two trucks, Truck 2 and Truck 3, were found to be in a visibly poor condition. Truck 2, in particular, was identified as a rolling hazard due to its precarious engine block suspension and significant corrosion on supporting parts. As a result, it was removed from the road. Similarly, Truck 3 was also found to be in a state of disrepair, raising suspicions of fraudulent certification by the responsible inspector. Investigations are ongoing for both trucks.

No criminal investigations were initiated for either Truck 2 or Truck 3, but the prolonged state of disrepair, combined with a recent main inspection sticker, has raised concerns about the integrity of the certification process.

Meanwhile, the roads saw a higher number of cycling violations. A total of 23 cycling violations were detected, with 21 warnings issued. Interestingly, no cycling violations were detected for either Truck 2 or Truck 3. Two reports of administrative offenses were issued for cycling violations.

In addition, eight administrative offense reports were written for car drivers, and 32 warnings were issued. However, no administrative offense reports or warnings were issued for either Truck 2 or Truck 3.

The investigation into fraudulent vehicle certification fits within a broader ongoing problem of illegal car certifications. For instance, investigations in Russia revealed testing laboratories issuing nearly 500 illegal safety certificates for vehicles within two months, some certificates being issued for seriously damaged or wrecked vehicles. This exposes systemic fraud in vehicle certification processes.

Investigators gather objective evidence to prove the falsity of certification claims and intent to deceive. They analyze inconsistencies between the vehicle’s physical condition and certification documents, cross-check with auction or accident records if relevant, and look for patterns indicative of fraudulent intent or systematic misrepresentation. This process often requires forensic expertise, combining field inspections with financial and document audits, leveraging advanced forensic investigation methods to ensure thorough case resolution.

As the investigation continues, it is crucial to maintain vigilance and uphold the integrity of the vehicle certification process to ensure road safety for all users.

The ongoing investigation into fraudulent vehicle certification extends to various modes of transport, as concerns about the health-and-wellness of vehicles, including fitness-and-exercise for trucks like Truck 2 and Truck 3, are being addressed. Furthermore, the scientific analysis of certifications and inspection documents aims to uncover the use of therapies-and-treatments that might mask vehicle issues, maintaining road safety for all users.
