Digital advancement and AI implementation transforming regional healthcare landscape
In a groundbreaking move, the AI Doctor Assistant project has been operationalized in several medical facilities across the Akkol region, including Akkol City Hospital and the PMSP in Red Yard. This initiative, spearheaded by the Regional Health Authority, is a significant step towards the application of artificial intelligence in the region's healthcare sector.
The AI Doctor Assistant project is currently being utilized in five medical facilities: Central City Hospital, Green Valley Clinic, Riverside Medical Center, Mountainview Health Institute, and Lakeside Community Hospital. The project's reach extends further, with its presence also felt in the first city clinic in Kokshetau and several other regional clinics, such as those in Kokchetav and Stepanovka.
The introduction of the AI Doctor Assistant project is not just a digital innovation, but a real step towards future medicine in the region. It eliminates geographical barriers for medical help, allowing villagers to consult specialists from the regional and republican level without leaving their village. This is particularly evident in the telemedicine project, which includes the Central District Hospital and medical facilities in Uryupinka, Ivanovka, Novorybinka, Enbek, Naumovka, and Kyna.
The project has demonstrated positive results in the KUIS system, with a decrease in patient trips to city hospitals, reduced workloads for doctors and support services, and increased accessibility of consultations. To further enhance this accessibility, a new electronic queue system has been implemented at the Center for Primary Medical and Sanitary Assistance in the village of Red Yard. This system allows for all services to be accessed through terminals or online, eliminating paperwork and waiting in corridors.
If successful, the electronic queue system will be expanded across the entire region. The AI Doctor Assistant project, also known as the AI Therapist, is currently operational in Red Yard and several other regional medical facilities, making medical help more convenient for the region's residents.
The operator of the digitalization project is Digital MED365, a company that has previously implemented similar solutions in the KUIS system. The AI Doctor Assistant project is a significant step towards modernizing healthcare services in the region, paving the way for a more efficient and accessible healthcare system for all.
