The Office for Social Work in Wiesbaden presents two model exhibitions designed to aid and empower individuals with visual impairments: "Blickpunkt Auge" and "Belle Wi".

"Blickpunkt Auge", an initiative by the German Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired (DBSV), offers guidance and assistance to those affected by visual loss. The exhibition features a variety of assistive devices, such as talking devices, digital magnifiers, voice assistants, and screen readers. For more information, visit www.our website.de/blickpunkt-auge.

"Belle Wi", a permanent exhibition, offers insights into comfortable and barrier-free apartment design. It showcases assistive devices, technical products, and renovation measures that can make living spaces more accessible for those with visual impairments. The exhibition is open on Tuesdays from 2 pm to 6 pm and Thursdays from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Both exhibitions provide free consultation and guided tours, arranged through the hosting organizations. To participate, contacting DBSV or affiliated local organizations like the Blinden- und Sehbehindertenverband Niedersachsen e.V. or spectrum e.V. would be the practical approach to arrange visits and receive information on guidance services.
