Every Step Counts Challenge Returns for Pediatric Cancer Research

The Nicholas Zoe Foundation is bringing back the 'Every Step Counts' Challenge, following its successful debut in September 2024. This fundraising event, running from September through December 2025, encourages participants to walk, run, hike, swim, or ride to support pediatric cancer research at Boston Children's Hospital.

The challenge, dedicated to the memory of Nicholas Artemiou, coincides with Gold September, Childhood Cancer Awareness month. It celebrates cancer survivors and warriors, carrying a message of hope for a future free of cancer. Participants can create personal, team, or corporate fundraisers, such as a 10k run, marathon, or gym challenge, to contribute to the cause. The foundation supports innovative work at Boston Children's Hospital, including the development of a liquid biopsy for children with cancer. This research aims to achieve faster diagnosis, less invasive treatments, and more targeted care.
