Exceptional Feline Feature of the Month: Oliver, the Energetic Tabby Whose Four Legs Make Him Unique.
Tom Oliver: A Gentle Giant in Need of a Forever Home
Tom Oliver, a robust tomcat with a beautiful speckled tabby pattern and striking green eyes, has been residing at the Solingen Animal Shelter since February 22, 2024. This gentle giant, with his magnificent white whiskers and silky soft fur, is eagerly awaiting his new home.
Tom Oliver's past is a mystery, having likely been lost and alone for a significant period before being found. Despite his wild origins, he has a soft heart and is friendly towards humans. However, his cohabitation with other cats is uncertain, as he prefers to live alone.
Oliver, a solitary cat, is recommended for older children in households due to his sensitivity. He has shown to be affectionate and enjoys being petted, but dislikes being touched on his belly. Prior to his admission to the shelter, he had a larger injury behind his ear and scars on his nose.
Upon admission, Tom Oliver was immediately chipped and neutered, ensuring he is ready for adoption. The shelter staff can provide further information about Oliver for potential adopters.
Tom Oliver's new home should ideally be a house with a garden, as he requires outdoor access. His appetite is large, out of fear of food shortage. With the right care and attention, Tom Oliver could make a wonderful companion for a single person or a family member.
Despite the uncertainties of his past, Tom Oliver watches his surroundings with attentive green eyes, waiting for the day he can call a new home his own. If you feel you could provide the love and care this beautiful tomcat needs, please reach out to the Solingen Animal Shelter for more information.
