Mark your calendars, folks! On the 11th of April, Schönberg's very own Volunteer Fire Department is turning 100, and they ain't letting this milestone pass unnoticed. Get ready for a day packed with excitement, camaraderie, and a dash of nostalgia.

Fast-forwarding to March 12, 2025, the department commemorated its founding with a reception on the Vossberg in Petersberg. Now, they're inviting one and all to join them for a day of open-door camaraderie, with anticipation running high for hundreds of attendees.

In the pipeline, a special exhibit titled "Fire Department: Yesterday and Today" is scheduled for June, along with a fiery spectacle in the fall.
