Health Party advocates for the formation of a Health Policy Task Force
The Solingen chapter of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) is set to host a founding assembly for the Working Group of Social Democrats in Healthcare (ASG) on July 24, 2023. The event will take place at the AWO facilities in Ohligs, Zweibrücker Straße 7, starting at 7:00 PM.
Initiated by Holger Höhmann, the purpose of the ASG is to establish a local forum for discussing legislative initiatives and health care developments in Solingen. Under the motto "Solingen Together", the assembly aims to bring together SPD members and interested non-members to share ideas and work towards a socially just health policy.
Josef Neumann, the state parliamentarian, health politician, and mayoral candidate of the Solingen SPD, has confirmed his attendance at the assembly. Neumann will speak about his vision for health policy in Solingen and address the current health situation in the city.
The state chairman of the Working Group of Social Democrats in Healthcare (ASG), Waldemar Radtke, will also attend the assembly on July 24, 2023. The co-chairs of the Solingen SPD, Manfred Ackermann and Sabine Vischer-Kippenhahn, are pleased about the upcoming "expansion" of the ASG.
The ASG is a thematic working group focused on health-related topics at local, state, and federal levels. The working group is open to both SPD members and interested non-members, with only SPD members eligible to run for and participate in the planned elections for the chair of the working group.
