Irritant Gas Attack on BVG Bus in Altglienicke: Six Injured
An unusual incident occurred yesterday afternoon on a Flixbus in Altglienicke. Six people suffered respiratory irritation after two juveniles sprayed irritant gas on the bus. The incident is now being investigated by a specialized commission of Police Directorate 3 (East) for the charge of dangerous bodily harm.
The incident took place around 2 pm at the bus stop Ortolfstraße/Anne-Frank-Straße. The bus, heading towards Adlershof on line 260, was carrying a total of seven adults and two children. A 32-year-old woman and her seven-month-old baby were treated on-site by emergency services. A 30-year-old woman and her five-year-old son were taken to a hospital for outpatient treatment. The 46-year-old bus driver and five other passengers were also affected. Initially, a 13-year-old girl and the bus driver declined treatment but the driver ended her shift early. The names and addresses of the two suspects, aged 14 and 16, were identified during the investigation. Despite the search results not providing their names or identities, the investigation into the assault case continues.
The incident has left the local community shaken. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. The investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been released at this time.
