Obituary: Georgie Ann Shore (1928-2025)
Georgie Ann Shore, a beloved resident of Bosque Farms, passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 95. Born in Albuquerque on December 18, 1928, Georgie lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to her family.
Georgie is survived by her son, Melvin Shore, two daughters, Sally Wilson and Mary Motter, and two youngest sisters, Judy and Joyce. She also leaves behind a loving legacy of 16 grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren, and some great-great grandchildren.
Georgie was preceded in death by her husband, Waymon Shore; her son, Alvin Shore; as well as her parents and six of her eight siblings.
Throughout her life, Georgie enjoyed various hobbies, including gardening, crafting, and spending quality time with her family. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed.
The funeral service for Georgie Ann Shore will be held at 10:30 a.m. on October 15, 2025, at the location of 1200 W. Aragon Road, Belen. Following the service, a graveside ceremony will take place at Terrace Grove Cemetery, also in Belen.
