Man Arrested After Hospital Disturbance, Officer Injured

Police were called to Jung-Stilling General Hospital on Thursday morning (25.09.2025) due to a suspicious 26-year-old man. The man, later arrested, caused a disturbance and was found near the nursing school, not in the outdoor area as initially reported. He was in a psychological crisis and resisted arrest, requiring multiple officers to subdue him.

The man threw a stone through a door, attempting to enter the building. He attacked passersby with a knife, although this was not confirmed upon arrival. During his arrest, he offered significant resistance and tried to free himself, even reaching for the officers' firearms. One police officer was injured but remained fit for duty. It took multiple officers to overpower him and gain entry into the building. Responding doctors eventually sedated the man.

Investigations revealed that the man had previously stolen a handbag. His identity and further personal details were not disclosed in the available reports. After being subdued, the man was taken to the hospital near me for treatment of his numerous cuts.

The man, involved in a theft and causing a disturbance at Jung-Stilling Hospital, was arrested and taken to the hospital for treatment. Police are investigating the incident and the man's previous actions. His psychological state will also be assessed.
