Mandaue Team Aids Quake Victims in Northern Cebu

In the wake of the recent earthquake, the Mandaue Psychosocial Response Team has been actively supporting residents in northern Cebu. Their efforts have reached Barangays Udlot and Guadalupe in Bogo City and continue in Tabogon.

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, the team provided assistance to 105 adults and 25 children in Bogo City. Their support included psychological first aid and stress debriefing sessions, tailored to both adults and children. The team's work is ongoing, with Thursday, October 9, seeing them in Tabogon, where they are offering similar support to victims and families.

Mandaue City Mayor Thadeo Jovito 'Jonkie' Ouano has expressed gratitude to various city offices and volunteers for their assistance in these response efforts.

The Mandaue Psychosocial Response Team continues to provide crucial support to earthquake victims in northern Cebu. Their work, focusing on psychological first aid and stress debriefing, aims to help affected individuals cope with the aftermath of the disaster.
