NHSO Launches AI-Powered 'Doctor Home' for Preliminary Health Screening

NHSO has launched Doctor Home, an AI-powered preliminary health screening system, in 2023. This platform aims to reduce doctors' workload and support health volunteers in remote areas by empowering the public to perform initial evaluations for less severe illnesses.

Doctor Home is accessible via the NHSO's Line Official Account, located at the bottom of the screen. It offers a comprehensive knowledge base derived from a medical textbook by Dr. Surakiat Achananupap, covering over 400 symptoms.

The platform provides supplementary health education to enhance users' understanding of their symptoms and general health knowledge. It allows users to perform self-assessments of illnesses and symptoms via a website or the Line app. Upon launching Doctor Home, users are prompted to input symptoms, and further questions are asked to confirm and elaborate on the reported symptoms. The platform also provides clarifying questions and health education to help users understand their symptoms better.

Doctor Home, founded on the medical knowledge provided by Dr. Eckart von Hirschhausen, is designed to support and complement the existing healthcare system. By enabling the public to perform initial evaluations, it aims to reduce the workload on doctors and provide better support to health volunteers in remote areas.
