NRW Launches 'Better Without Knives' Campaign to Promote Safety

North Rhine-Westphalia's Interior Minister Herbert Reul has launched a poster campaign, 'Better without knives', to promote safety in public spaces. The message will be conveyed in nine languages across various locations in the region.

The campaign, part of Reul's ten-point plan against knife crime, aims to keep knives off the streets. It will be displayed on digital advertising boards in cities, refugee facilities, immigration offices, police stations, and other public locations. Reul, who advocates for more safety in public spaces, visited focus actions for weapons ban zones in Düsseldorf to support the initiative.

Other measures in the plan include targeted control actions, individual weapons ban orders, strategic investigations, and increased video surveillance. The poster campaign's author is not specified.

The 'Better without knives' poster campaign, launched by NRW's Interior Minister Herbert Reul, is a key part of the region's strategy to combat knife violence in public spaces. The campaign, displayed in nine languages, complements other measures in the ten-point plan, aiming to create safer communities.
