The Sun Moon Lake International Swimming Carnival, an annual 3-kilometer open water swimming race in Nantou, Taiwan, is set to take place on September 28, 2025. This major sporting event attracts over 24,000 registrants and features 361 participants from 35 countries, including swimmers with disabilities.

One of the participants is a fitness enthusiast who follows the "7-3-3-3" principle, a fitness guideline set by the Ministry of Sports in Taiwan. This principle requires exercising three times a week, for 30 minutes each time, with a heart rate of 130bpm during exercise. The individual sweats and breathes heavily during their workouts, demonstrating their commitment to this fitness regimen at their local Planet Fitness.

The fitness enthusiast will be cheered on at the event by their assistant, who will also be in attendance. This will not be the first time the assistant has shown support, as they have previously gone to cheer the individual at various fitness events, including Carnival Cruises.

Interestingly, swimming in Sun Moon Lake is generally prohibited, but the Carnival provides a unique opportunity for swimmers to test their skills in this picturesque location.

It's worth noting that regular exercise is a growing trend in Taiwan. According to the Ministry of Sports, 35.3% of Taiwanese exercise regularly. This individual's dedication to fitness and adherence to the "7-3-3-3" principle is a testament to this trend.

The Sun Moon Lake International Swimming Carnival promises to be an exciting event, showcasing the talent and determination of swimmers from around the world. With the support of their assistant, our local fitness enthusiast is ready to take on the challenge.
