Penn Researchers Unveil BlinkWise: Glasses That Monitor Health Via Eye Blinks
Researchers at Penn State have created BlinkWise, an innovative device that transforms regular glasses into a smart health monitor. This groundbreaking technology tracks eye blinks using low-power radio-wave sensing and edge AI, offering a more efficient and less intrusive way to find my device health compared to existing 'smart' eyewear. BlinkWise, developed by Penn State researchers, uses radio signals to track eyelid movements with remarkable detail. This approach preserves privacy and consumes minimal power, making it a significant improvement over existing methods that often require high-speed cameras and specialized equipment.
