Police in North Swabia are examining reports of sexual misconduct

In the heart of Augsburg, Germany, on Sunday, September 14, 2025, a 34-year-old woman was subjected to a distressing incident. The incident occurred at Berliner Allee, a popular pedestrian and bicycle path in the city centre, near the west bank of the Lech river.

At around 7:30 PM, the woman was walking when she was approached by an individual. The description of the harasser, as provided by the victim, is a male, standing approximately 180cm tall, with a slim build, short dark hair, wearing a black hoodie, dark shorts, and was riding a mountain bike.

The harasser is reported to have grabbed the woman's buttocks before fleeing south on his bicycle. The police are urging the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police emergency number 110, or via emails to [email protected].

The Bavaria North Police Headquarters is leading the investigation, with witnesses requested to come forward to provide statements. The police are asking anyone who may have observed the incident to contact the Police Headquarters at 0821 323 - 1013 /-1014 /-1015, or the dedicated witness line at 0821/323-2710.
