### **Inclusive Vineyard Work: Successful Harvest at KJF Regensburg and SIGMA Inklusionsbetrieb**

This year, the vineyards under the Winzerer Hohen, managed by KJF Regensburg and SIGMA Inklusionsbetrieb gemeinnützige GmbH, have yielded an abundant and high-quality harvest, with the red grape variety Regent particularly excelling.

#### The Harvest Team's Dedication

The harvest was completed with great dedication and passion by Heidi Unger, deputy operations manager of SIGMA Inklusionsbetrieb, her colleague Stefan Hergesell, and 14 helpers. Their hard work and commitment ensured the success of this year's grape collection.

#### The Red Wine Regent's Triumph

The red wine Regent from this harvest has turned out exceptionally well, showcasing the quality of the grapes and the team's expertise. Michael Eibl, the director of KJF Werkstätten, expressed his satisfaction with the harvest, highlighting the Regent grape's outstanding performance.

#### A Long-standing Partnership

Last year, these vineyards were transferred to KJF Regensburg by Regensburg entrepreneur Oswald Zitzelsberger. The collaboration between KJF Werkstätten and SIGMA Inklusionsbetrieb has been ongoing, with both organisations committed to creating an inclusive workplace for colleagues with and without disabilities.

#### The Inclusive Workplace: A Model of Success

The vineyards cultivate several grape varieties, including Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Weißburgunder, and Spätburgunder. By fostering an inclusive work environment, KJF Regensburg and SIGMA Inklusionsbetrieb have demonstrated that people with disabilities can thrive in meaningful employment within the agricultural sector.

#### The Future of Inclusive Agriculture

The project serves as a replicable example for other agricultural sectors seeking to enhance workforce diversity. Heidi Unger, a passionate viticulturist, continues to champion the cause of inclusive employment, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern inclusion practices to open doors for many.
