In a significant move for the agricultural sector, state-owned enterprise "Yakutian Livestock" has signed a cooperation agreement with the Federal Scientific Center for Animal Husbandry VNIIT named after L.K. Ernst. The details of the agreement, particularly its focus on the study and preservation of Yakutian cattle, are yet to be fully disclosed.

The research and development under this collaboration are expected to serve as a foundation for the progress and stability of the local population, with the aim to pass on a valuable resource to future generations. The specialists involved in the project are observing the life of Yakutian cattle and collecting material for further research and development.

The Federal Institute of Genetic Resources for Animals has sent its specialists to Yakutia for field research on Yakutian cattle. The research is intended to ensure the survival of the local population in the harsh climate, producing animals capable of surviving in the Far North. The unique farming culture in the region, blending traditional practices and modern technologies, is seen as a foundation for the local population's progress and stability.

The research and development are expected to contribute to the balance of the ecosystem in the Far North, with scientists confident that the joint research will produce healthy, viable animals capable of maintaining ecosystem balance. The specialists are conducting their research on the farms "Taastakh" and "Kylyss" in Yakutia.

Candidate of Biological Sciences Igor Nedashkovsky and Dmitry Rudyanov, head of the cryobank group, are among the specialists conducting research on Yakutian cattle in Yakutia. The cooperation agreement aims to preserve and develop the unique northern breed of Yakutian cattle, with the research and development expected to be a reflection of the region's unique farming culture.

For more information, one can directly contact the Federal Scientific Center for Animal Husbandry VNIIT named after L.K.
