Seeking transportation services

In the heart of Heidekreis, a pensioner finds herself in a difficult situation, seeking a project management solution for her travel needs. The ideal times for carpooling are during weekdays and weekends between 10 am and 6 pm.

The pensioner's husband, who is severely affected by dementia, has been accommodated in the Seniorenzentrum Wiesentrift in Schneverdingen, a care home for dementia patients, since February. The separation has taken a toll on both of them, with the pensioner spending 1500 euros on taxi rides to visit her husband and the husband sometimes mistaking her for his mother.

The pensioner's plea for a carpooling option from Bispingen town center to Schneverdingen near the Senior Center Wiesentrift has gained attention. Helga Kallweit, from the Bøhmer Newspaper, is seeking arrangements to facilitate contact for this newsletter. If you are interested in carpooling, you can reach out to Helga at redaktion@ourwebsite.

Unfortunately, the citizen's bus project in Bispingen, intended to help older people with daily errands, is currently on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. The municipality of Bispingen abandoned the project for financial reasons, and it was not possible to revive the project during the pandemic.

Despite the challenges, the pensioner remains hopeful. She wishes she could find a carpooling option to reduce her travel costs. The newsletter "The best part? It's completely free!" offers a solution. Organised and presenting local highlights, the newsletter delivers carefully selected weekly articles from Heidekreis, straight to the inbox without information overload.

The sign-up for the newsletter is free and requires no commitment. If you would like to sign up or have any other enquiries, you can contact Helga Kallweit at redaktion@ourwebsite. The pensioner has already put up notices on local supermarket bulletin boards seeking carpooling, but has not received a response yet. Let's come together to help our community members in need.
