Sex Offender Arrested - Sex Crime Investigation in Dusseldorf and Mettmann - Suspects Detained and Under Custody

Approximately five months later, on October 19, 2023, an attempted sexual offense occurred in Langenfeld. Both cases are being investigated for similarities.

The focus of the investigators in the March 10, 2024, offense in Hilden turned to a 38-year-old man registered in Hilden. A DNA sample taken from this man showed a match with molecular-genetic traces secured in the March 2024 offense. The man, of Egyptian nationality, was arrested on March 10, 2024, in connection with these three sexual assaults in Düsseldorf, Hasseler Wald, Langenfeld, and Hilden between April 25, 2023, and March 10, 2024.
However, there is no information in the search results about the man's involvement in the other two offenses, and the investigations into his involvement in these cases are ongoing. The arrest warrant for the man has since been executed.
