As for the current COVID-19 situation, the district has seen a significant improvement. As of 21.09.2025, no new infections have been reported, and the 7-day incidence stands at a low 4.2 cases per 100,000 inhabitants across the entire Rhein-Kreis Neuss region.

As of March 25, 2020, there were 220 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in the district, with 1,008 individuals having been released from quarantine as they did not show any symptoms after the 14-day incubation period. Currently, 919 people are in quarantine as suspected cases, on the recommendation of the district health department.

In terms of recovery, 17 individuals have successfully overcome the infection (an increase of seven from the previous day). Meanwhile, the number of deaths due to infection and other diseases remains at three.

For a more detailed breakdown of the COVID-19 cases within the district, here's a snapshot: 71 people infected with the virus live in Neuss, 40 in Dormagen, 35 in Grevenbroich, 34 in Meerbusch, 20 in Kaarst, 11 in Korschenbroich, 7 in Jüchen, and 2 in Rommerskirchen.
