Support network established for individuals grappling with bipolar disorder
On August 12th, 2025, a new support group for individuals living with bipolar disorder will commence in Wiesbaden. This group, organized by Christian and Karin, aims to provide a supportive environment for those navigating the challenges of this condition.
The support group meets every two weeks, specifically on Fridays from 3 to 5 pm, at Konradinerallee 11. The organizers invite participants to share experiences, develop strategies for daily life, and gain new perspectives.
Bipolar disorder, also known as manic-depressive illness, brings extreme fluctuations between elation and lethargy. Significant effects of this condition often include impact on work, relationships, and quality of life.
The self-help contact point at the Wiesbaden Health Department offers information on various support offers, including the new bipolar disorder support group.
